Abstract

The article calls for inclusivity in the Pakistani healthcare system for people who are blind or have low vision. Results of studies reveal the limited understanding of primary healthcare workers of eye problems, lack of access to telehealth services and inadequate accommodations for visual impaired persons. It suggests the training of healthcare personnel to treat visually impaired patients, improvement of accessibility in hospitals and medical centers and provision of tactile navigation aids.
