- Abstract
The article addresses opioid crisis in the U.S. According to the author, more Americans die because of drug overdoses than car crashes, and most of the overdoses involve some form of opioid like oxycodone, hydrocodone and morphine, and heroin, an illicit opioid. A number of communities fighting opioid epidemic are featured including the Partnership for a Drug-Free New Jersey, the Alexandria Treatment/Criminal Justice Initiative and Learn to Cope.
