The Observing-Conferencing Role of University Supervisors.

Abstract

Zahorik describes how university supervisors observe and conference with student teachers. Data were obtained through semi-structured interviews with ten university supervisors. Results revealed that each supervisor had a preferred type of supervision. The supervision types are described by the author and the implications for teacher education and for future research are discussed.
