Title

BETTER LIFE ON THE FARM.

Abstract

The author reflects on the conditions of U.S. farmers. He asserts that a farmer should get the considerable return in money, comfort and social advantages from the crops he grows as that he should get the same return in crops from the land he farms. In his address delivered at the semi-centennial of the founding of agricultural colleges in the U.S., the author quotes that a farmer's well-being is as essential to the welfare of the whole country.
