Abstract

The article investigates the prevalence of abnormal urine screenings in children entering foster care and evaluates the clinical utility of routine urinalysis in this population. Topics discussed include the types of abnormalities found such as protein, blood, and nitrites, the demographics of the children screened, and the follow-up procedures required for abnormal results.
