Sudden Coma due to Simultaneous Basilar Artery and Bilateral Carotid Artery Occlusion.

Abstract

The article reports on the diagnosis given to a 42-year old woman who was suffering with atrial fibrillation and has been comatosed. According to a perfusion computed tomography (CT) conducted, defects were observed in the patient's bilateral hemispheres and brainstem. In addition, occlusion was found in the mid-basilar and internal carotid arteries.
