Abstract

The article presents a study on the efficacy of Xymedon (Hydroxyethyldimethyldihydropyrimidine) in rat's toxic liver injury induced by carbon tetrachloride (CCI4).1 The study was performed to 111 outbred adult rats, wherein the animals were administered with CCI4 to induce toxic liver injury. The study of biochemical parameters showed that exposure to CCI4 after 10 and 20 days has no significant difference in the control group compared to the intact animals.
