The article presents a study that examines how cytochalasin-induced disturbance of cytoskeleton assemble affects the intensity of the respiratory bust of primed neutrophils in response to different stimuli. The study was undertaken with the use luminol, Hank's medium, cytochalasin D, and chemotactic peptide. Results of the study show that the intensity of the respiratory burst was lessen compared to the data on cytochalasin-untreated prime neutrophils.
