Abstract

The article presents a study on the dynamics of proteasomes in WALKER 256 tumors cells grafted into the Brattleboro rats and Wistar albino Glaxo (WAG) rats. The proteasome subunits and the activators were determined by immunoblotting, assessed using antibodies and processed statistically. The study shows that the total pool of proteasomes in the Brattleboro rats were reduced and led to tumor regression while tumor cells in WAG rats intensely grew and escaped immune control.
