Abstract: The article discusses a study on the chiral lariat ethers based on spontaneously resolved 3-(2-Cyanophenoxy)propane-1,2-diol. The study has showed formation of supramolecular complexes by crown ether (R)-III and enantiomers of 1-phenylethanamine hydrochloride IV-HCl. Also offered is a synthesis of racemic and enantiopure 3-(2-cyanophenoxy) propane-1,2-diols.
