Abstract

The article discusses the mechanism of the reaction of 3,3-dimethyl-1-trimethylsilyl-2-trimethylsiloxy-1-phosphabut-1-ene with chlorobis( o-phenylenedioxy)phosphorane. The study has used the quantum chemical methods in examining the mechanism of the reaction. It also localized transition state for the transformation of the E isomer into Z isomer.
