Abstract

Nanocrystalline bismuth orthoferrite has been synthesized under conditions of glycine-nitrate combustion. Temperatures of activation of formation and growth of BiFeO nanocrystals have been shown to correlate with melting temperature of surface (non-autonomous) phases. Optimal temperature of synthesis of nanocrystalline bismuth orthoferrite has been determined.
