Abstract

The mosaic microinhomogeneity in mixed crystals of the isomorphic series (Co,Ni)K(SO) · 6HO has been studied. The growth processes have been observed in situ in optical and confocal microscopes and the distribution of composition components has been studied by the energy-dispersive method. The results make it possible to develop model concepts about the formation of composition microinhomogeneity in solid solutions.
