Title: Phase equilibria and growth of β-BaBO crystals in the BaBO-BaNa[BO]F system.

Abstract: A complex investigation of the BaBO-BaNa[BO]F cut, which belongs to the ternary mutual Ba, Na//BO, F (BaBO-(NaBO)-(NaF)-BaF2) system, has been performed. The cut is quasibinary, with the following eutectics coordinates: 810 ± 5°C, 85 mol % BaNa[BO]F, 15 mol % BaBO. It is shown that this system can be used to grow bulk β-BaBO crystals.
