Abstract

The results of experimental research of foamy gas–liquid flows, aimed at increasing productivity of gas wells with high liquid content in the production are presented. The study is carried out on the basis of the developed experimental facility and the authors' methodology of research of stationary gas–liquid flow, providing data on the flow characteristics at different values of pressure, different liquid volume flow rates, and different gas volume flow rates. It is shown that there are optimal values of the surface-active-substance concentration at which the minimum pressure drop between the inlet and outlet sections of the lifting column is achieved, and which depend on the pressure at the inlet to the experimental facility.
