Title

Compensatory increases in protein markers of mitochondrial dynamics during ageing are adaptable to physical activity.

Abstract

The article discusses the role of mitochondria cellular dynamics and tissues mechanism in adapting to physical activity of older individuals. The authors explain the insights of related studies on the increase of fission and fusion protein markers in aging as response to protein damage. They believe that physical activity can help prevent fission protein loss and muscle mass in aging individuals.
