Women have been battling the perception of men being more suitable for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics - (STEM) related fields for many years. Women with STEM jobs earn 33% more than comparable women in non-STEM jobs and considerably higher than men in STEM careers. Therefore, it is imperative that we I prepare i and I inspire i all students, especially students of color, females, and students from low socioeconomic backgrounds, to learn STEM content (PCAST, [6]).
