The article presents case study of patient who was admitted to hospital because of incidental hypoglycemia soon after birth and showed persistent hypoglycemia and hyperlactatemia after 3–4 h fasting, and she gradually developed hepatomegaly. It mentions diagnosis of glycogen storage disease type Ib (GSDIb); and also mentions SGLT2i can ameliorate neutropenia and IBD symptoms in GSD1b patients.
