Abstract

The article offers information on the Congenital Cardiac Anesthesia Society (CCAS). Topics covered include its establishment in 2005 by pediatric cardiac anesthesiology leaders, its organization as a section society within the Society for Pediatric Anesthesia, and membership growth. Also mentioned are the CCAS conference on March 31, 2016 in Colorado Springs, Colorado and guidelines provided for clinical care issues.
