- Title
Laryngospasm notch pressure ('Larson's maneuver') may have a role in laryngospasm management in children: highlighting a so far unproven technique.

- Abstract
The article describes the case in which laryngospasm notch pressure (LNP) or Larson's maneuver was administered by an anesthesiologist to an eight-month-old, prematurely-born boy who was undergoing fiber-optic laryngoscopy when a laryngospasm occurred. Topics discussed include the re-establishment of a stable breathing pattern and conducting LNP when ventilation by face mask is impossible in an anesthetized child with a normal airway despite routine upper airway maneuvers.
