Abstract

The article discusses a study which examined the identity of fine endophytes (FE) Glomus tenue via the small subunit ribosomal RNA gene. Particular focus is given to colonization of the host plant Trifolium subterraneum, as well as characteristics of the FE colonization. Also discussed are amplification of the ribosomal RNA and the correlation between FE colonization and Mucoromycotina and Glomeromycota sequences.
