Abstract

The article focuses on beliefs regarding folk medicine and folk cure. It explores six relevant areas that offer coherent and interrelated set of beliefs that were widespread in developed North American cultures. It also mentions how such beliefs became more widespread and the development of changes with respect to dualism regarding folk medicine and cure.
