- Title
Methodological Challenges for the Responsible Use of AI in Systematic Reviews: Risk of Bias Assessment.
- Authors
Maleki, Farzad; Karami, Manoochehr
- Abstract
The article discusses the challenges and benefits of using artificial intelligence (AI) in systematic reviews (SRs) for evidence-based medicine. While AI tools like RobotReviewer and GPT-4 can automate tasks and make SRs faster and cost-effective, they may have limitations in assessing the risk of bias accurately. Integrating AI in health research raises ethical concerns, and human validation is crucial to ensure reliable assessments. The Cochrane Institute emphasizes the responsible and ethical use of AI tools in SRs to avoid potential adverse health consequences.
