Abstract

The article presents a brief history of the evolution of studies on watersheds. It says that Frenchman Bernard Palissy concluded from that rain supplies springs in 1580. It also offers that publishing of Lake States Forest Experiment Station director Raphael Zon of a world literature review regarding the relation of water supply with forests in 1912.
