Title

Reflections from the salt mine - 8 years’ experience of problem-based learning.

Authors

Taylor, David C. M.

Abstract

The article focuses on the author's experience about running a problem-based learning (PBL) curriculum in Liverpool, England. One of the hardest things about running a PBL curriculum is making sure that what is happening is actually PBL. Evaluation is fundamental to the working of PBL. It is essential that the groups evaluate their own performance, ideally every time they meet, and that they evaluate the way the PBL facilitators do their job.
