Abstract

The article presents several medical research. A study on breast cancer prevention that was published in the 2006 issue of the "Journal of American Medical Association" showed tamoxifen and raloxifene had equivalent effects in lowering breast cancer risk. Raloxifene was associated with fewer endometrial cancers while tamoxifen was associated with more satisfactory sexual function. A study on types 1 and 2 diabetes in pregnancy was published in the 2006 issue of the "British Medical Journal."
