This article presents the achievements of the Court of Auditors of the European Communities in connection with the agreement of Brussels in 1975 that aims to enhance the European Community's external audit. Their operation starts in October 1977 with the appointment of its nine members, which took over the functions of the community's two existing external audit bodies, the Audit Board and the European Coal and Steel Community Auditor. The Court's internal organization has undergone several changes since 1977. And the roles and responsibilities of every members were also been discussed in this article.
