Voriconazole–micafungin combination therapy for acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

Abstract

The article presents a case study of a 22-month old boy admitted due to facial ecchymosis and unresponsiveness to high dose of globulin therapy. Fungal infection was suspected due to persistent fever and Candida tropicalis was found during blood culture. Laboratory examination results indicated acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) where voriconazole micafungin for mycosis was administetered.
