Abstract

The article presents the case of a two-year-old girl who was found to have anuria caused by unilateral renal agenesis. The patient developed anuria after receiving hydration therapy for dehydration from acute diarrhea. Analysis of the abdominal ultrasonography revealed unilateral hypertrophied left kidney with marked dilatation of the pelvocalyceal system. Emergency percutaneous nephrostomy was conducted on the patient.
