The article presents a case study of a 53 year-old man who was admitted to the hospital for preoperative assessment as a candidate donor of a renal graft. He has treatment history of coronary artery disease and an intraluminal coronary artery stent in the left anterior descending artery. Four renal arteries in the left kidney was spotted using digital subtraction angiography (DSA). The article discusses the role of polar arteries and multiple renal arteries in kidney transplantation.
