Abstract

It is a shared belief that overall cesarean delivery rate is higher than necessary, with breech presentation being a major indication for primary cesarean delivery. It is established that external cephalic version (ECV) reduces the number of babies in the breech position, coupled with a reduction in cesarean delivery rates.
