The article outlines the normal behaviour, development and problems of babies at six months of age. Topics covered include ability of infant to lift their head when prone, grasping objects, smiling and babbling sounds such as "oogoo" and "ahah", variable sleeping patterns and Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).
