Abstract

The article looks into the bullying and harassment of medical trainees in Australasia. Topics include the definition of bullying in the workplace, the greater likelihood of women experiencing gender incivility, and an examination of surveys on workplace bullying in various countries such as New Zealand, the U.S., and Great Britain. It also discusses the lack of reports of bullying and harassment, the emergency medicine environment, and the need for cultural change in the workplace.
