Abstract

The article offers information on the caesarean section rates is featured in the maternity dashboard of statistical data. It mentions the cost of a caesarean section is also greater than that of a vaginal birth; and also mentions a report by Birth rights showed that almost one in six National Health Service (NHS) trusts in the Great Britain do not offer women caesarean sections on request.
