Abstract

The article focuses on problems in uterus transplantation as assisted reproductive technology have improved infertility treatment for many couples. It mentions uterus transplantation (UTx) is a possible treatment for women with uterine factor infertility (UFI) due to hysterectomy for a malignant uterine tumour and benign disease. It also mentions replacement of the cryopreserved embryo and subsequent pregnancy and delivery by caesarean section.
