Abstract: The article discusses the effect on endometriosis on the uterus, uteroplacental circulation and pregnancy. Topics addressed include the role of uterine blood supply in the occurrence of endometriosis, complications associated with adenomyosis and pelvic endometriosis, and the pathophysiology of endometriosis. A study by Saraswat et al. published in the 2016 issue of "BJOG," which examined the use of laparoscopy in the diagnosis of endometriosis, is mentioned.
