Abstract

The article presents the discussion on article by Eva van Roekel and Marjo de Theije enriching the analysis of the Venezuelan crisis. Topics include contributing towards generating a better understanding of complex networks of commerce and trade; experiencing and conceptualizing in close relation to old and new experiences of territorial encroachment and land dispossession; and bringing the limited services of the small provincial town to exhaustion.
