Abstract

Presents a study which reported the results of employing a Cashew Nut Shell Liquid (CNSL) based resin for modifying the properties of nitrile-butadiene rubber (NBR) compounds. Composition and structure of CNSL; Reaction of CNSL with formaldehyde; Tests conducted to estimate the quality of CNSL sample; Details on the molding of NBR test specimens.
