Abstract

In this article we propose and exemplify a scheme for linking geometrical and analytical approaches to solving problems expressed in terms of functional relations accessible to upper secondary school pupils. Its purpose is to encourage mathematics educators to link the visual with the analytical as a means to improve the learning of mathematics.
