- Title
Gene Signatures Revisited.
- Authors
Baker, Stuart G.
- Abstract
The article revisits a gene signature used to classify cancer specimens. It discusses the application of the three-gene model of Haibe-Kains et al. in the classification. It explores theories of cancer biology to explain the use of a gene signature with only few genes. In addition, the article hopes to use gene signatures to improve treatment decisions.
