Abstract

Discussion CCLE commonly manifests as discoid lupus erythematosus (DLE) but also as lupus profundus, chilblain lupus and lupus tumidus. A 59-year-old woman presented with an 18-month history of raised areas on her vulva causing itching and soreness. The interferon--regulated gene signature is elevated in subacute cutaneous lupus erythematosus and discoid lupus erythematosus and correlates with the cutaneous lupus area and severity index score.
