Title: HIV/AIDS and STD Updates.
Abstract: The article presents briefs related to sexually transmitted diseases (STD). The efforts by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) to organise new safety profile data for a cervical cancer vaccine is mentioned. The Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee of the FDA has forwarded its recommendation for the drug named Gardasil to prevent genital warts in males. Researchers at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill have reportedly decoded the HIV virus genome structure.
