- Abstract
Dalit women's untouchability experiences Dalit women are victims of caste, gender, and poverty. The book revealed most Dalit women worked in agricultural fields and were paid equally to non-Dalit women but less than men (Dalit and non-Dalit). Sixty-four percent of Dalits were not allowed in temples, 53% of Dalit women faced ill-treatment from other women, 9% of Dalits were denied access to public transport, and 9% faced discriminatory treatment in private clinics.
