Abstract

The article discusses a study on the xylanase regulator protein gene (xlnR) characterization in talaromyces cellulolyticus or acremonium cellulolyticus. It provides an overview on the regulation of expressed cellulase and hemicellulase genes through various transcriptional factors in filamentous fungi. It also mentions the functions of xlnR which involves the use of carbon catabolite repressor protein and xylanase production.
