Abstract

In this article the author discusses behavioral health services in public schools, focusing on various mental health intervention programs including the Incredible Years Teacher Classroom Management Training, Cognitive Behavioral Intervention for Trauma in Schools, and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support (PBIS). Attention is given to the implementation of such programs in the public school environment. Other topics include systemic concatenation, student emotional and mental health support systems, and educational innovations.
