Abstract

An interview with Robert Root-Bernstein, a scientist, humanist, and artist at Michigan State University, is presented. When asked about his interest in studying creativity and the history of science, he refers to his passion of learning history in school and reading history books. He shares the discoveries he considered to be particularly interesting or important. Root-Bernstein also offers advice about how educators and school systems help bright students discover and develop their talents.
