Cordero, Jennifer

Abstract

978-1-6411-3073-8 The authors state the purpose of section one as a "call to disrupt and rethink how elementary social studies methods" are taught to preservice teachers and later promulgated in their classrooms. The authors contend that teachers must advocate for the revocation of non-ideological classrooms due to the traditionally exclusive nature of most social studies programs.
