Abstract

Examines the effects of N[sup G]-nitro-L-arginine methyl ester on vasoconstrictor response to nonadrenaline in rat caudal artery. Physiological role of nitric acid in the regulation of vascular tones; Increase of perfusion pressure in the caudal artery; Participation of extracellular adenosine triphosphate in the release of nitric oxide.
