Abstract

This document presents a study on the effectiveness of the AAA model in predicting outcomes for patients with essential thrombocythemia (ET), a type of blood cancer. The AAA model incorporates age, arterial hypertension, and anemia to assess the risk of adverse events in ET patients. The study found that the AAA model accurately predicted overall survival and was associated with the risk of thrombosis and major bleeding in ET patients. However, the study acknowledges the limitations of a retrospective analysis and the relatively small number of patients and short follow-up time.
