- Abstract
The author reflects on the importance of self-created audio and video content in enabling more microbiologists to share knowledge and new via Internet. He argues that the there is an exploding demand for audio and video content. An overview of surveys conducted by different organizations and company are provided including one by Accustream and another one by eMarketer. The author suggests that sharing of knowledge and news online are important in order to prevent the risk of becoming irrelevant.
